…In "7 Dias 7 Instrumentos - Música" , Carioca was challenged by Egberto Gismonti to explore his solo and improvisational talents.

…An inventive soloist with great ability for improvisation. Carioca creates music even out of very rustic and primitive instruments like the Brazilian northeastern sitar ( in truth, that little harp or sitar sold in the streets),

as well as from more sophisticated instruments like the 12 string guitar

or the 10 string guitar.

Carioca continues the quest for new sounds and harmony.
